See where every referral stands
Your Affiliate tab lists each person you referred, without their email address, and moves them along as they subscribe.
- Signed up
- They created an account through your link. They stay yours: a plan they start within 365 days of the referral counts.
- Subscribed
- They started a plan. The tab shows your commission and the date it’s payable from.
- Payable
- 45 days have passed since their first payment, whether or not they cancelled since. It goes into our next payout; that day we check that we kept the money: no dispute, and no refund below the commission.
- Being paid
- Wise emails you: enter your bank details within 7 days to collect it. If you miss it, Wise returns the money to us; tell us and we send it again.
- Paid
- Done, with a credit note (Gutschrift) to download for your records.
- Expired
- No plan started within 365 days of the referral.
- Not eligible
- This one never pays: the payment was refunded below the commission (also after a discount) or disputed. The tab says why.
Questions about the program
Who counts, what you earn and how you are paid.
One commission per person, by the plan they are on when we pay: Starter $10 monthly or $30 yearly, Pro $20 monthly or $60 yearly, Business $40 monthly or $120 yearly. If they upgrade before then, you earn the higher amount.
45 days after the subscriber’s first payment, if their subscription started within 365 days of the referral, even if they cancel or don’t renew. On the day we pay we check one thing: that we kept the payment, so it wasn’t disputed or refunded below the commission (also after a discount). The 45 days cover our refund window. Your Affiliate tab shows the date for each referral.
We review payable commissions by hand and pay them together in one Wise batch; there is no fixed payout day. Wise emails you at your payout email and asks for your bank details; enter them within 7 days. If you miss it, Wise returns the money to us; tell us and we send it again. Wise pays you in your local currency, and we never see your bank details. There is no minimum amount; Wise’s fees and exchange margin on your side are yours.
Anyone with a verified Seonio account, with or without a subscription. There is no application and no minimum audience: your link is in the Affiliate tab of your account.
Someone who opens your link and, within 30 days, creates a new account, or starts their first subscription from a free account that never had one. The last link they opened before signing up counts. After that they are yours for good; nobody else can take them. You can’t refer yourself.
No. Each payout comes with a self-billed credit note (Gutschrift) that shows the VAT treatment for your country and status, ready to download in your Affiliate tab. Before your first payout you enter your legal name, address, country and VAT status.
No. Your tab counts the people who sign up through your link and follows them from there, not visits. Use your own analytics if you want click counts.
Yes. Your code works on every Seonio page: add ?ref= and your code to a product page, the pricing page or a free tool, and the visit counts for you.
Referring yourself or your own other accounts, spam, misleading ads, bidding on the Seonio brand in search ads, and false payout details. Commissions earned that way are void. We may change or end the program for future referrals, with notice. The full rules are in our <a class="link" href="/terms#affiliate">Terms, section 5.4</a>.
